1,000 Knee Replacements

OMNIlife science Inc., officials announce the successful completion of 1000 knee replacements utilizing OMNI’s APEX Robotic Technology (A.R.T.).

APEX Robotic Technology is a surgical navigation product of PRAXIM, a sister company to OMNIlife science. A.R.T. empowers the surgeon with intelligent instrumentation that allows intra-operative customization to place, accurately, the knee implant as intended. This is possible, in part, by PRAXIM’s patented BoneMorphing technology that creates a precise virtual 3D model of the patient’s anatomy, which in turn provides accurate positioning of an automated bone-cutting guide. A.R.T. addresses key issues associated with conventional surgical procedures, including improving bone-cutting precision, to produce ideal leg alignment.
