Methods to Hold Open House

Methods Machine Tools Inc., a leading supplier of innovative precision machine tools, will be holding a “Spring into Production Event” at their recently expanded, state-of-the-art Technology Center in Elgin, IL on June 15 and 16, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. each day.  Manufacturing professionals are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Located at 2400 Vantage Drive in Elgin, Methods will have 15 machines from their partners in productivity on display including: High Performance Feeler Machine Tools, featuring extensive design and engineering by Methods including Turning Centers and a VMC; Matsuura 5-axis Multitasking Machining Center; Nakamura Multitasking Turning Centers; Kiwa-Japan Vertical Machining Center; FANUC Robocut Wire EDM and RoboDrill Vertical Machining Centers and a VisionGauge® Digital Optical Comparator.

Methods technical representatives will be on hand at the open house. In addition, visitors will be able to check out the latest tooling and workholding being displayed. Door prizes will be awarded and lunch will be served.

Methods has recently brought new management onboard and expanded their Elgin Technology Center. Application engineers and service personnel are being added to meet the increasing demand for Methods' brands. The Elgin facility can provide complete turnkey installations and cellular automation for the full line of Methods metal cutting and EDM machine tools.
