Methods Machine Tools Inc. and Matsuura Machinery Corp. have announced a new appointment for Matsuura in the USA. John Schwartz has been hired by Matsuura Machinery Corporation as Product Manager in the U.S.A., a newly created position to support increased demand for Matsuura products.
“We are pleased to have John work with the Methods’ team,” comments Bryon Deysher, president and CEO of Methods Machine Tools Inc. “He is in a strategic position to work closely with customers, while collaborating with Methods’ sales and engineering organizations, to communicate customer requirements to Matsuura.”

Schwartz brings 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and engineering in the manufacturing industry to his role of U.S. Matsuura Product Manager. Prior to joining Matsuura, he wasVP of sales and marketing at IEMCA.
Several new Matsuura machines have recently been introduced, including the MAM72-100H Large Capacity 5-Axis Horizontal Machining Center and the LX-160 2-pallet 5-Axis Ultra High-Speed/ Precision Vertical Machining Center. Both machines will be making their North American debut at Methods’ Learning Lab at The imX Manufacturing Experience Event in Las Vegas NV, September 12-14, 2011.
