Officials at Methods Machine Tools have reached a deal with Yasda Precision Tools to begin distributing its tooling solutions across the United States starting Wednesday.
According to a statement from Methods, the machine tool distribution company will demonstrate select machines from Yasda at their technology centers in the “near future.” The two companies will also begin providing technical resources, applications, and service to support the expansion of Yasda machines into the U.S. market.
“We are very pleased to announce this partnership,” says Bryon Deysher, president and CEO of Methods Machine Tools Inc. “Yasda Precision is a perfect complement to our high performance machining solutions.”
Yasda Precision, a Japanese builder, uses only Yasda machines to build their own machine tools. They are used in applications where ultra-high performance, accuracy, and rigidity are important. Methods will be offering the complete line of Yasda machines including:
- Vertical, horizontal and 5-axis machining centers capable of jig borer accuracies. Thermal stability and structural integrity of 4- and 5-axis machines are suited for nickel-based alloys, stainless stee, and titanium machining requirements in the aerospace, oil field, power generation, and medical industries.
- Die mold machining solutions for automotive, aerospace, medical, and high-precision electronic and optical components.
- High-speed linear motor ultra-precision platforms to serve all intricate tolerance, small part applications.
“We are excited about the agreement and are looking forward to a long and mutually successful partnership,” says Takuto Yasuda, president of Yasda Precision Tools.
