Mori Seiki and Ellison Technologies will host a grand opening event at its Mississauga, Ontario facility, to introduce and celebrate the collaboration of the two companies, as well as showcase the latest advances in Mori Seiki machine tools and Ellison Technologies automation technology to Canadian manufacturers.
Attendees of the two-day event, April 27 and 28, will be the first to see Mori Seiki’s NVX5080 vertical machining center from the new X-Class, as well as the NMV5000DCG 5-axis vertical machining center, NT1000/SZM mill turn center, and NL2500SY CNC lathe.
In addition to the latest machine tool technology on display, the opening will feature a lean automation cell, demonstrating how manufacturers can run unattended operation, which increases machine utilization and machining capacity.
Technical presentations will focus on new technologies for the automotive and energy industries, along with demonstrations of multi-tasking strategies. Ellison and Mori Seiki application and support engineers will be onsite to advise customers with engineering services including test cuts, turnkey processes and accessory integration.
