Morris Group, Inc., one of the largest machine tool distribution networks in North America, has announced the appointment of George J. Fonte to the position of Productivity Specialist for The Robert E. Morris Company, also located in Windsor, CT.
In his position as Productivity Specialist, Fonte will work with manufacturers on Long Island, NY, to help them improve efficiency of their machine tools by assessing current practices and recommending tooling and accessories.
According to Aaron Hornyak, president of The Robert E. Morris Company, “George has a proven track record developing effective CRM programs and that ties in nicely with our philosophy of commitment, responsiveness and service. George’s background will make him a valuable asset to our customers.”
Fonte brings nearly 20 years experience in sales and customer service most recently as sales engineer for G. Fields Inc., Bohemia, NY.
