Morris South of Huntsville, Alabama, and Charlotte, North Carolina recently hired David C. Adams to the position of Productivity Specialist. Adams will work with manufacturers in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia where Morris South is the exclusive distributor of Okuma, Hardinge, Bridgeport, and Tsugami CNC machine tools.
In this new position, Adams will help customers increase the productivity and machining process efficiencies of their CNC machine tools by assessing current practices and recommending and sourcing advanced tooling and accessories. Morris South partners with leading suppliers of tooling and accessories including KOMA Precision, REGO-FIX, Caron Engineering, Kennametal, Sandvik Coromant, ROMER, Renishaw, MP Systems, FANUC Robotics, and Velocity Products.

Adams brings over 20 years of account management and customer service experience to Morris South. As a customer service representative and later applications engineer with Kennametal, Adams has a unique knowledge of the tooling and accessories industry. Most recently he has worked as a regional metalworking specialist for MSC Industrial Supply.
