Neuros Medical Inc., a medical device company announced today the commencement of its product development effort to generate innovative neurostimulation technology for the treatment of chronic pain. To aid in the technology development, Neuros Medical has tapped Battelle to develop a neurostimulation device, which will be led by Dr. Zi-Ping Fang, CTO at Neuros Medical.
“I am very excited to be a part of this key milestone in our Company’s development,” Fang says. “Taking research from the bench to the bedside is a pivotal part of the commercialization process, and the utilization of Battelle is a positive step in the process.”
Bill Dunlevy, vice president of Medical Devices and Diagnostics at Battelle adds, “We are excited to be working with Neuros Medical in their novel technology. This is a key step in achieving Neuros Medical’s goal of helping patients suffering from chronic pain conditions.”
