The THINC -OSP P300S, the newest version of the Okuma CNC control, was developed by watching the way machinists actually operate multi-tasking machines. This resulted in the creation of smoother, more effective ways of producing parts with less keystrokes. Operators at any level, from beginner to experienced, can easily operate a complete multi-tasking machine and make full use of the functions. The control is now task-based rather than mode-based, enabling easier operation/viewing and delivering more processing power. Tool data setup now populates Collision Avoidance System and Advanced One-Touch IGF, as tool functions populate off of a single database. The P300S features a dual-core processor.
