Morris Group, Inc. announces the promotion of Aaron Hornyak to president of The Robert E. Morris Company. He assumed operational responsibility on October 1, 2009. Previous to this announcement, Hornyak served as vice president of sales. In that capacity he was responsible for machine tool and accessory sales for the six New England states.
Prior to joining The Robert E. Morris Company, Hornyak served as regional sales manager – Northeast for Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, a $42 billion dollar company that engages in research, development, manufacturing, marketing and sale of pharmaceuticals and health care products. Before joining Novartis, Hornyak worked in Wyeth’s Vaccine Division, also in New England. He is a graduate of The University of Delaware and The Novartis Management Development Program.
Hornyak will report directly to Brad Morris, who is president of Morris Group Inc., and has direct operational responsibility for the Okuma group of companies. “As Vice President of Sales, Mr. Hornyak was an advocate for our company, our partners and most importantly, our customers,” Morris explains. “As a machine tool industry outsider, he brings a fresh perspective that has benefited our company.”
