Charlotte, North Carolina – Okuma America Corp. officials are pleased to announce that Brittany Russell has been named training program manager. She is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and delivery of Okuma America training programs and initiatives and is the liaison for the Okuma Technology Institute at York Technical College.
Russell previously worked as a learning and development facilitator for MSC Industrial Direct where she developed sales and technology programs. She was also the lead facilitator and designer for all new company training.
“Okuma is happy to have Brittany join us as our Training Program Manager. She has extensive blended learning training experience and immense knowledge in designing and implementing training programs to support positive sales growth. We look forward to her developing a world class training program at Okuma for our employees, distributors and customers,” says Denise Wilson, human resources manager.
Russell holds a BA in Public Relations from East Tennessee State University in addition to PHR and Adult Learning and Development certifications. She has several years of professional experience in Adult Learning Theory and implementing Adult Training Methodologies.
