GIE Media’s Manufacturing Group
About the presentation
With the increasing pressure to eliminate some solvents used for part cleaning in open top degreasers, the need to off-set the higher costs of today’s alternative have become an important part of these processes. The capability to recycle solvents directly from the process chamber into a standalone distillation system then return the clean solvent to the chamber for re-use has proven to be an excellent way to extend the life of the solvents and maintain a cleaner fluid to ensure consistently clean parts for a longer time.
This distillation system maintains the purity of the solvent and also minimizes the times the solvent needs to be drained into containers and disposed of, saving additional money and paperwork. This process of solvent recycling is a winning combination of:
• Extended bath life
• Improved parts cleaning
• Reduced operational cost
• Environmental responsibility through technology
