Pall Corporation, a global leader in filtration, separation and purification, announces it is opening a Life Sciences Center of Excellence in Westborough, Massachusetts.
Set to open in Spring 2013, the center will be located in the heart of Massachusetts’ life-science cluster, and will provide a range of process solutions for drug development, validation support, and training capabilities for both Pall employees and customers.
“It will complement our new center in Menio Park, CA and serve as a technical hub for our Life Sciences business and operations in the northeast region of the United States,” Ken Frank, president of Pall BioPharmaceuticals tells the Business Wire.
Equipped with new advanced life sciences equipment, the 113,000ft2 center will feature single-use systems, tangential flow filtration systems, viral clearance and cell culture solutions, and chromatography systems.
The Business Wire also reports that Pall plans to move its existing operations and employees from its Northborough, Massachusetts location to the new center.
