Okuma America Corporation and Morris South will be hosting Productivity Improvement Days at the Partners in THINC facility on Sam Neely Road in Charlotte, NC from 3:30pm - 7pm on October 6 and 7, 2009. The event will be filled with informational seminars and live machine tool cutting demonstrations, designed to help manufacturers improve productivity, decrease costs and increase throughput.
Featured speaker will be Larry Schwartz, President of Okuma America Corporation, who will be talking about Advanced Manufacturing and the Power of Partnership. Caron Engineering will be conducting an Adaptive Software Demonstration and the Gosiger Automation Robotic Beverage Server will be on display and operational. Ten different machines will be cutting everything from die molds to pistons to oil couplings and Morris South, Okuma and various partner representatives will be on hand to discuss specific manufacturing challenges with attendees.
