PolyOne’s GLS Thermoplastic Elastomers' GLS Versaflex HC portfolio is engineered for medical tubing, gaskets, stoppers, sheet extrusion, and blow molding applications, has been developed and tested for compliance with USP Class VI, ISO 10993-4 and ISO 10993-5.
FDA-compliant Versaflex HC MT series TPEs provide customers with new choices for low-extractable, eco-conscious medical tubing. Formulated without phthalates or halogens, these materials can help medical tubing manufacturers to address regulatory and marketplace concerns without compromising end-use performance.
The GLS healthcare portfolio also includes Versaflex HC 2100 series and CL E series. The HC 2100 line provides molders with the latest in thermoplastic elastomer technology for medical stoppers and gaskets. The CL E series provides sheet extruders and blow molders with high clarity, heat-sealable, autoclave-ready TPEs for fluid delivery applications such as IV bottles and bags. In addition to these offerings, Versaflex can be custom formulated to meet specific requirements for feel, modulus, hardness and tactile properties.
