Key features of the Redcell enterprise edition include automated deep discovery, CMDB inventory; performance monitoring of IT devices, interfaces and services; customizable graphical, logical and physical topology; customization of alerts, event correlation and processing; fault & event management via SNMP; Syslog and CIM indications; extensive canned and ad-hoc reporting; task automation; and comprehensive change and configuration management – for multi-domain, multi-vendor and virtualized environments that include vendor equipment from Cisco, Dell, EMC, Extreme, Juniper, HP, Brocade and many others.
The integrated Redcell solution offers a full visibility into the data center which allows for quick problem resolution without the use of multiple point tools. It also offers the power and flexibility to manage devices via a customizable permission-based graphical user interface (GUI). For instance, the connectivity data, when synchronized with asset data in the CMDB, creates a complete picture of the IT infrastructure that can be represented in highly customizable reports or via a topology view.

The Redcell enterprise edition is designed for network consultants and administrators and starts under $3000. The enterprise suite consists of Redcell OpsCenter, Redcell Storage Commander, Redcell Network Commander and Redcell Advanced Monitors, including RTCP Monitor and Cisco IP SLA. The suite is generally available and trial software is available on Dorado Software’s website.
