Th
e expanded Seco Tools Jabro-Solid2 (JS) family of solid carbide cutters delivers highly efficient machining and features aerospace corner radii. Additionally, a new JS554-3C version cutter within the series incorporates extra long shank lengths and a chip splitter geometry that produces smaller chips when machining with the long cutter lengths.
Seco’s Jabro-Solid2 line of versatile square shoulder endmills provides full machining flexibility, while simultaneously offering an excellent price-per-performance ratio for all workpiece materials. Double core designs add extra stability and reduce tool deflection for increased cutting speeds and feeds, while polished Siron-A coatings allow for smooth chip flow and enhanced tool life. The 3- and 4-flute cutters also include a differential pitch design for chatter free machining.
JS553 and JS554, as well as the JS554-3C, are available in comprehensive inch and metric sizes. Multiple lengths are also offered to suit most applications.
