Your speakers are Larry Robbins, president - Commercial Division at SMW Autoblok and Cory Carpenter, digital enablement specialist at Sandvik Coromant.

Larry Robbins joined SMW Autoblok in 2007 as National Sales Manager and recently was appointed President in 2019. As president for SMW Autoblok’s commercial division, Robbins is responsible for all strategic sales and marketing initiatives as well as overseeing SMW Autoblok’s North America sales team and customer base including machine tool dealers and OEM’s. He also oversees various projects internationally. Robbins has over 35 years of experience in machine tool manufacturing and prior to working for SMW Autoblok, he owned a successful manufacturers’ rep company for 13 years. Robbins' expertise in the machining industry began in his early youth when he worked side-by-side his father who owned a prosperous distributorship in New York.

Cory Carpenter started his career with Sandvik in 2007, at Sandvik Hyperion, formally Diamond Innovations. In 2015, he transitioned over to Sandvik Coromant as a sales engineer, with responsibility for a dynamic customer base located in Central Ohio. For the past 2 years he has been the digital enablement specialist for North and South America where he is responsible for the sales and support of their cloud-based machine monitoring solution, CoroPlus Machining Insights. Carpenter has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University. He works based out of Columbus, Ohio where he resides with his wife and two sons.
