MEDTEC 2012 represents the ideal venue for Telsonic to present the latest innovations in joining and cleaning technology for the medical device industry.

Some of the technology on display will be:

• Ultrasonic welding offers a fast, clean and controllable solution to many joining applications on medical device components and Telsonic’s continued focus on this market has led to the development of a range of products and solutions for end users and system integrators alike.
• Soniqtwist is a unique torsional welding technique developed by Telsonic in Switzerland that enables the micron thin seals and membranes, often found on medical device components, to be welded successfully using ultrasonics, without the risk of damage or perforation to these delicate parts. This technique, which is also appropriate for a diverse range of intricate and thin section components will be demonstrated by Telsonic with a live exhibit.
• Making its debut at MEDTEC 2012 will be the latest in Hot Air – Cold Staking Technology (HACS) from Telsonic. A demonstration system will be on show to allow visitors to the stand to see first-hand how this technology compliments Telsonic’s range of ultrasonic modules and systems for plastic joining applications.
• Cleanliness is a stringent requirement for this industry and Telsonic has built up an extensive and enviable product portfolio. Industry special purpose machine builders or end users can choose from a comprehensive range of field proven ultrasonic cleaning components and modules including Tube Resonators, Immersible Transducers and Generators.
• A hand held ultrasonic welding unit will also be available to illustrate the principles of ultrasonics for those unfamiliar with the technology. Telsonic will also showcase a wide selection of components from the medical device industry, where their ultrasonic technology has already been successfully applied.

MEDTEC 2012 is being held between the May 23-24, 2012 at the NEC in Birmingham and Telsonic UK Limited can be located on stand 1615.
