There are signs of a turn in the economy in the Lowcountry. A German Company has made a big announcement about jobs in Berkeley County.
Trumpf Medical Systems is a medical manufacturing and equipment sales company that will build its headquarters right at the Cainhoy Park in Berkeley County. The company will bring almost 30 jobs in the coming years.
The company makes surgical lights, operating room tables, and ceiling mounted equipment. The company chose the Tri-county area out of three other sites in the country.
"Anybody who reads any studies about where the growth is shifting, the growth is certainly in the southeast, and that helps us in working with great hospital systems," Trumpf CEO Andy Reding says.
The company will bring positions in engineering, sales, customer service and manufacturing. The facility will open in September. If you want to apply for one of the positions visit the company's website www.us.trumpf-med.com.
