For over 50 years, TENTE has been developing and producing casters for medical equipment, hospital beds, and nursing beds.
TENTE has always placed great emphasis on the functionality and safety of our products. As such, casters of this type are subject to particularly strict testing. The performance standard of the casters and wheels from TENTE even surpasses the requirements of the regulations set out in European standards DIN EN 12526 to
DIN EN 12533.
Previously, in the fields of hospital furniture and medical technology, only complete pieces of equipment – e.g. hospital beds – were checked in accordance with certain test criteria and TÜV certified.
In order to meet the constantly rising demands even on bed casters, in terms of function, loads, environmental considerations and safety, TENTE now supplies TÜV certified, central locking hospital bed casters in the 2044/46 series, “INTEGRAL”.
This caster series consistently offers reliable mobility and patient safety.
TENTE hospital bed casters in the “INTEGRAL” series:
- 2044 casters with total -, directional -, or central locking option and the 2046 casters with central locking option. Both caster versions are available in wheel diameters 5 inch, 6 inch and 8 inch (125mm, 150mm and 200mm). All designs were compliant with the requirements and have been authorized by TÜV-Süd.
