United Grinding North America Inc. welcomes manufacturers to its Fredericksburg, Va., facility on Nov. 20, 2013, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to experience the latest technology and trends in PCD tool manufacturing.
During this special one-day event, United Grinding will present live demonstrations on the latest hard fine machining solutions from its WALTER and EWAG brands, the comprehensive system and solution providers for complete tool machining.
WALTER and EWAG manufacture grinding, eroding, laser, and CNC measuring machines that produce and resharpen cutting tools and parts made from superhard, difficult-to-machine materials such as PCD, CBN, CVD-D, ceramics, cermet, carbide, cobalt chrome, and HSS.
The event will also feature technical presentations on a wide variety of PCD-related topics, including advancements in PCD tool technology and machining solutions for complex geometries, grinding wheels for superhard materials, superhard material science, advancements in brazing technology, and coolant basics.
