GF AgieCharmilles has announced the launch of a new website designed to help American manufacturers survive and succeed despite the economy’s current turmoil. Located at www.make-it-better.us, the site brings together a host of resources from throughout the industry to provide practical advice on a wide range of applicable topics.
Completely free of any sales-oriented content, www.make-it-better.us concentrates on providing relevant support in a broad variety of subjects, including innovative machining processes, training and education, evaluating and adapting a business model, business diversification and marketing strategies. The website will accept and present contributions from any company in the manufacturing industry with applicable expertise, so long as the content focuses on solutions and not selling a product.
“The United States is currently facing the greatest economic challenge it has seen in a generation,” says Glynn Fletcher, president of GF AgieCharmilles. “We are launching this new website to provide a vehicle for companies to exchange expertise so that we can all weather this storm together.”
On March 1, 2009, www.make-it-better.us will officially open to the public. Any company wishing to share its expertise via the site should contact Gisbert Ledvon at 847.955.7164 or gisbert.ledvon@agiecharmilles.us.
