The Alpha series of bar feeders provides users with bar loading for many common applications. Alpha ST320 S2 is an automatic magazine bar feeder for sliding headstock turning machines that combines simplicity of design and operation with typical LNS reliability. Alpha ST320 S2 flawlessly loads bar stock diameters from 1/8” to 0 .787” (3mm to 20mm, 25mm with bar preparation) and bar lengths from 39” to 12’ (12’-6” maximum).

Alpha ST212 S2 is an automatic magazine bar feeder for sliding headstock turning machines with a unique, dual directional screw loading mechanism for faultless bar loading and feeding of bar diameters from 0.078” to 0.470” (2mm to 12mm) and bar length from 39” to 12’ (12’-6” maximum). Both bar feeders share a number of characteristics including a one-piece, extruded, durable aluminum profile guiding frame mounted on a solid steel structure integrating the drive chain and channel cover for greater rigidity and improved performance throughout the entire diameter range. Both machines are designed for rigidity, simplicity, easy access to components and serviceability, and include an automatic, two-position, pneumatically actuated hydrostatic front stabilizer with V-shaped guiding elements to dampen residual vibrations between the bar feeder and the turning machine.

The Alpha SL65 S is a short loader for bars with diameters from ¼” to 2 5/8” (6mm to 67mm) and lengths from 12” to 61” (300mm to 1,550mm, not to exceed the overall spindle length). The Alpha SL65 S includes the exclusive Soft Touch loading system using a servomotor that automatically adjusts speed, torque, acceleration and deceleration to allow travel and positioning at high speeds.
