Officials from Hermle have recently introduced the C 400, a 5-axis machining center incorporating Hermle’s popular patented gantry design, mineral cast base, and rugged construction in a compact footprint and priced for entry-level shops and manufacturers seeking Hermle quality in a startup package. With an X, Y, Z axis of 850mm-700mm-500mm, respectively, a 15,000/18,000rpm main spindle capability, and integrated 38-position tool changer, the C 400 basic delivers Hermle quality at an affordable price.
