The C Series five-axis machining centers create hard metal components characteristic of leading edge applications in the aerospace, energy, and other industries. Constructed on a mineral cast base utilizing the company’s patented modified gantry design, the C 22 U offers 450mm, 600mm, 330mm travel in the X, Y and Z axis, respectively. Standard spindle speed is 15,000rpm (18,000rpm, 30,000rpm and 42,000rpm, optional). The pick-up style tool changer has a capacity of 55 to 65 tools. Available controls include the Heidenhain iTNC 530 or Siemens S 840 D SL.

Designed for applications in the nominal 600mm cube, the C 30 features the cast mineral base and modified gantry design characteristic of the C series. X, Y and Z traverse is 650mm, 600mm, and 500mm, respectively, and chip-to-chip time ranges from 4.5 sec. (in the Dynamic version) to 5.5 sec. in the standard version. Standard speed is 10,000rpm with 18,000rpm, 28,000rpm, and 40,000rpm optional. The tool changer features 32 positions, and control options include Heidenhain iTNC 530 and Siemens S 840 D.
