OES (Optimal Engineering Systems Inc.) has added a high resolution, compact vertical stage to its extensive line of high accuracy, high resolution lift stages. The BT-SN50 Z-axis Stage has 50 mm of travel and a footprint of just 125 mm by 125 mm. This high-resolution stage, also referred to as Lab Jack, is driven by a Two-Phase Stepper Motor. This fully enclosed black anodized Z-axis stage is ideal for use in a laboratory or on an optical bench where cleanness is important and space is at a premium.
Preloaded linear guides and precision ground 1.5875mm per motor turn lead screw provides, 0.794 microns resolution (with 10 Micro-steps per-Step Motor Driver), a positional accuracy of 2 microns, and very high parallelism.
The 125mm x 125mm table has 16 threaded holes for mounting: Tooling, fixtures, lasers, and X, Y, G (goniometers), and Theta (Rotary) motorized and manual stages. Four accessible mounting holes in the base allow for easy integration into new and existing applications. Capable of handling loads to 50kg, the stage has limit switches to prevent over travel.
This compact, high precision Z-axis Stage is the ideal choice for: Laser drilling and machining, optics, inspection, positioning, assembly, in laboratory and in production settings. Each of these stages can be ordered with a fully compatible plug-and-play, single or multi-axis motion controller, keypad, joystick, and cables from OES.
