Precision Cutting Tools, Inc. (PCT) has introduced a new line of solid carbide end mills for Aluminum applications. The High-Performance Machining Plus (HPM+) end mills are engineered specifically for high-speed milling centers; they can achieve high RPMs of up to 33,000. Their unique geometry provides an improved tool balance for maximum spindle speeds, allowing for advanced machining accuracy, chatter-free operation and a superior finish on the part. In addition, the end mills have proven to increase productivity, while reducing machining time and spindle maintenance. The HPM+ end mills are available in 2 and 3 flutes with the following: diameters ranging from (3/8”- 1”), overall lengths from (3”- 7”), radii, ball ends and optional coolant holes.
