The H600 WXCU 0403 is an even smaller insert, based on the original HELIDO-UPFEED line introduced two years ago, extending the tool diameter range of the insert line to include 16mm and 20mm diameter sizes. The HELIDO UPFEED high feed milling tools line now includes the complete diameter range of 0.630" to 5". All H600 WXCU 04, 05 and 08 inserts are peripherally ground. The new FF EWX -04 endmills are available in 0.630" and 0.750" diameters with cylindrical, Weldon, MULTI-MASTER and FLEXFIT shank types and various shank lengths.
The tools have a 17° lead angle configuration, so the resultant cutting forces are directed axially towards the spindle of a machine tool. In addition, the H600 WXCU 0403 insert is clamped into a dovetail pocket, providing very firm clamping. Available in SUMO TEC grades and various rake angles, the inserts can be used on a wide range of materials and applications. All of the HELIDO-UPFEED cutters have coolant holes.
