Long Parts ExtractionParts under 6” in length are collected by the standard parts catcher and placed on a parts conveyor belt, then the parts exit the machine via a chute on the head end of the machine. Longer parts use the optional long part extraction tube that uses a filler tube for each part diameter. Parts are collected in the tube and each successive part pushes the previous part at the end of the tube out onto a parts collection tray.
The part ejector and spindle coolant flush and air blast unit must be disconnected to use the long part ejector system.
