GT-27

Chatsworth, California - Ganesh Machinery announced that they will be introducing their new GT-27 SL 3-axis gang-tooled slant-bed CNC lathe at IMTS in Chicago this year. The new 7.5-HP, 6,000 RPM, 5-C collet spindle machine has a generous 13.5” of cross travel and a C-axis with driven tools. The machine will be truncating an I.D. and O.D. thread and using a rotary broach as part of the machine demonstration. The venerable Cyclone CS-32 7-axis multi-tasking CNC lathe will also be shown demonstrating a complex part showing the power and strength of this 1-3/8” sliding headstock bar machine using the standard 27-tools and 11-driven tools in a cutting demonstration.

Ganesh
will also be introducing the new compact footprint ASL-100 Auto-Loading CNC lathe for processing of parts up to Ø2.3” with an automatic part load and unload station. A 6,000 RPM 15-HP spindle with a 6” hydraulic chuck is standard.  The machine is equipped with a 12-station tool turret and a driven-tool turret is available. The 5-axis milling machine VFM-5X8 with a Ø8” integral trunnion table will also be shown showing the affordable versatility that a true 5-axis machine can provide a shop owner.  The machine is powered by the “World’s Fastest CNC Control”, the Mitsubishi M850 with 2,000 block look-ahead and a blazing 270,000 block per minute processing speed.
