Lumatris Machine Luminaires
Available in 90 or 180 LEDs, Lumatris provides work areas of different sizes with homogeneous, wide-area lighting. Light Forming Technology transforms the light characteristics of LEDs into highly homogeneous wide-area lighting. Besides ensuring optimal glare suppression, this new technology achieves a 30-percent increase in efficiency. A standard, built-in economy mode provides additional energy savings. The luminaire can be switched to half or full power depending on the task at hand. For half power, every second LED is switched off. In contrast to dimming, this technique produces no hazardous stroboscopic effect and thus provides additional safety on the machine. The LEDs used in Lumatris are have a good color rendering index of Ra > 80. The other advantages of LED technology are maintenance-free service life (thanks to an LED lifespan of up to 50,000 hours or more), flicker-free light with no UV or IR component, and full functionality even after numerous on/off switching.
Lumatris has a protection rating of IP68-1m & IPX9K. Its robust housing of anodized aluminum and 4mm thick safety glass make it suitable for the harshest of environments. In addition, the luminaire is tested for resistance to many types of coolants and lubricants. With its low surface temperature of maximum 58°C, it provides outstanding burn protection. The housing itself is designed for high ambient temperatures up to 45°C. Its flat construction allows the luminaire to be suitable for built-in as well as external mounting. Different types of connections present numerous options for integrating the unit into the machine in the best possible way. The luminaire can be connected directly to 24 VDC without additional components. Additional mounting accessories, such as a swivel mount, are available for customized solutions. The intelligent electronics is protected against polarity reversal.
