RAM Optical Instrumentation, a division of Quality Vision International (QVI), introduces the allnew QVI SNAP DM 200 large field-of-view dimensional measuring system at IMTS 2014. The SNAP DM 200 extends effective measuring range using QVI’s unique large-field-of-view technology. The DM 200 features a precision moving stage with 150 mm X-axis range. When coupled with SNAP’s standard 100 mm field of view, the additional X-axis range allows the DM 200 to measure parts up to 250 mm in size. Built-in image stitching combines multiple part images into a single large image, allowing fast measurement and clear visualization of entire parts. SNAP DM 200 delivers even more flexibility by offering a dual magnification lens system to provide additional resolution for precise measurement of smaller features on a wide variety of parts.
SNAP DM 200 is shop-floor-ready, built to handle industrial conditions like temperature and vibration extremes. Its clean design simplifies part setup and fixturing. Easy-to-use controls enable SNAP DM 200 to be used by any operator with minimal training. RAM will demonstrate the all-new SNAP DM 200 at IMTS 2014 in Booth E-5602.
