Bend, Oregon – Tech Soft 3D officials announce the release of HOOPS Exchange 2016, the industry’s fastest and most accurate data exchange solution. Notably, HOOPS Exchange 2016 includes a tight integration with Parasolid which was developed in collaboration with Siemens. This integration allows developers to read Parasolid-based CAD formats without any modification to the data. Advanced healing functionality within Parasolid and PS/BodyShop is used to map other CAD data formats to valid Parasolid models. The result is the highest quality data-translation solution on the market for Parasolid users.

Advanced file management is another major focus in in this release. A lot of energies have been directed to provide a complete solution in relation to the management of persistent IDs. This allows developers to track unique features in a CAD model as it progresses through a workflow. New shattered assembly functionality makes it possible to access and revise smaller components of a model – useful for collaborating on large, complex models, as well as cloud-based workflows.
HOOPS Exchange 2016 also has the ability to compute exact multiple sections and HLR to create technical documents and drawings.
This release includes support for the latest file formats, including Siemens Solid Edge ST8 and SolidWorks 2016, ensuring HOOPS Exchange’s consistent position as the most complete and accurate data access solution available.
