The Tsugami BW329Z Swiss Type Lathe uses its 3-path control system and dual independent gang slides to slash cycle time and produce complex parts quickly. The BW329Z has the capability to use 3 tools in the cut, two on the main and one on the sub, combined with its horizontally opposed gang tool layout, this machine offers the shortest tool to tool path and the quickest possible chip to chip time.
The BW329Z has Y-axis and 8 live tool positions on the sub spindle tool post allowing milling operations, traditionally performed on the main spindle, to be carried out on the sub spindle internal to the cycle time. Other features include 60mm of Z stroke on the rear gang slide, integral spindle motors and an integral drive guide bushing motor for the fastest possible acceleration/deceleration times and quick C-axis positioning.
The BW329Z’s standard nine cutting axes (X1, Y1, Z1, X2, Y2, Z2, X3, Y3, and Z3) along with its BW329Z Abile Programming Software can make easy work of your toughest applications.
