CNC Indexing & Feeding Technologies now offers several styles of short bar loaders in both pneumatic and servo styles. The pneumatic style of bar loader is an ideal solution to economically add unmanned production capability to a lathe. The servo style of bar loader will also allow unmanned production capability while being able to feed to higher accuracies or used on lathes with a sub-spindle. At IMTS 2014, the company will show its pneumatic models V-65E (4’) and V-65LE (5’). These models load spindle length bar stock into the lathe spindle and will feed to a turret stop. They have a small footprint and are extremely versatile. They are capable of loading bar diameters from 5mm (0.196”) up to 66mm (2.598”) and can be used for small to large production runs. The company’s patented “TRACER” LED Lights allow for easy visual monitoring of the production process while away from the lathe and bar loader. The V-65E is the company’s most popular model due to its economical price, ease of operation and quality construction.
